How It Works

This app measures heart rate using your camera by detecting color changes in your skin.

Face Mode

Uses AI face detection to find your face, then measures color changes in your forehead. Works best with good lighting and minimal movement.

Finger Mode

Place your finger over the camera lens. Uses light absorption changes to detect pulses through your skin. More accurate than face mode.

Technical Details

Both methods use photoplethysmography (PPG) - the same principle as medical pulse oximeters. Blood absorbs green light, so heartbeats cause tiny color changes we detect and amplify.

Accuracy

Not a medical device. For recreational use only. Use a medical pulse oximeter for accurate readings.
